200 Central Condominiums Coming to Fruition

Local real estate developer, Alatus, is a step closer to building a 40-story condo tower along the Minneapolis riverfront in the Saint Anthony Falls Historic District. Two buildings were given the go-ahead to demolish for the placement of 200 Central Condominiums, the name of the Alatus project.  The next step is for City Council to approve the condo tower proposal on June 17, with construction starting as soon as this fall.

The 200 Central Condominiums will feature 207 upscale condominiums with a street-level restaurant and parking.  The overall structure will be a slender glass and concrete tower.

Alatus has developed a few influential residential properties in Minneapolis, not far from the site of their new project.  Their upscale developments include The Carlyle Condominiums and Grant Park Condominiums.

Alatus commissioned ESG Architects to design 200 Central Condominiums.  ESG Architects have recently been highlighted with the Phoenix Lofts, the Zenith Condominiums, Radisson Blu at the Mall of America, and the W Hotel - The Foshay in Minneapolis.
