Columbia Heights

Columbia Heights is a first-tier northern suburb just north of Minneapolis.

The name “Columbia Heights” was selected by means of a contest early in the community's history; partly, it is believed, because of its proximity to Columbia Park, and because the highest point in four adjacent counties is located within its 1696 acres.

Population numbered 19,496 at the 2010 census, an increase of about six percent since 2000.
